Upon opening for the first time, I noticed it was on
selective startup with all the boxes checked. Is the
default setting? I clicked on normal start-up and apply
and all is good. I out of curiousity checked the selective
startup with all the load and process boxes checked, re-
booted opened the config and it was back on normal startup
again. Is this all normal?
Thx

Yes. "Normal Startup" is the default setting. You had disabled an item
in MSCONFIG but not one of the major components that are listed under
"Selective Startup". When returning to "Normal Startup", all disabled
items had been enabled again and changing to "Selective Startup" with
no further changes on the other register cards does not "stick",
because this is the same as "Normal Startup".
