Hello,
So Yesterday night i left my computer open for an hour to go get dinner and when i came back i was greeted with a black screen of no signal being sent (it wasn't just a black screen). I tried rebooting and the problem persisted but while i left it like that to googlethe symptoms the screen opened revealing the choice of entering the mobo menu. I entered and checked the hard drive options and my windows ssd wasn't being recognised. After one more reboot, not having changed anything, everything went back to normal.
Today the problem appeared again but with no boot meny option. At the begining, when starting iteither stayed with no signal with the drive lights blinking rhythmically or still with no signal but with no hard drive light indications and in a repetitive cycle of the computer turning on and off by itself. Now it just stays eithout signal and the lights blinking. All fans work normally but my screen only shows that no signal is being readed by any port. I tried changing the vga cable to the mobo port taking out the ram gpu and disconnecting and reconnecting all cables and doing a bios restore but even when i tried to boot with no drive connected the hdd light kept flashing like before.
Any help? I really wish its a matter of psu or something silly like that

My system is
i5 4440 cpu
Msi b85 g41 pc mate mobo
2x4gb+1x2gb ram
Gtx 750 ti gpu
And an aerocool xcas 700w psu
haven't done any oc

Solution
aerocool xcas 700w psu;
yeah I'd remove that PSU from the system and source a donor unit to see if that changes your issue.

You might want to rule out a faulty GPU by running said GPU on a donor system with power from a reliably built PSU that can output 500W of power to the entire system.

Solution
I did think of checking with a donor psu but all other psus i have are old with only one 4 pin cpu connector.
I tried rearranging the ram and that did the trick for some weird reason and now even when arranged as it was before everything works fine.

Id like to leave it as is but i do feel like its time to get a better psu. After all everything started yesterday after the electricity went down and that probably triggered the psu to do funny stuff. I know that aerocool is not a good psu brand and 700w are too much even when considering headroom for a gpu upgrade.
