System enough for a 1070?

Will my i5 3470, ga-h61m-DS2V and 16 GB of 1333mhz ram severely bottleneck a gtx 1070? Right now I have a 60hz 1080p monitor, but would like to get either a 1440p or a higher refresh rate 1080 monitor. I think my system should be alright but I'd like to hear your opinions.

I think a 1060 would be a better option for your CPU.

What power supply do you have?

Currently I have a corsair CX 600 watt PSU and running a r9 390 ATM, PSU is more than enough. And I'm really not looking for a 1060 😛

You could get a 1070 and be happy in plenty of games. But CPU intensive games like GTA V and Cities: Skylines might max out your CPU and hold back a 1070.

Would you consider making the upgrade to an i7 3770?

get GTX 1070 , dont worry much about few bottleneck.

I agree that it'll be fine in most games, but there are a few titles that the i5 3470 will struggle in.
