Hello, I bought 3 system fans, each of there are a 3pin connector, I plugged them into my motherboard which is a Gigabyte z77-DS3H which are a 4pin slot, however the problem is system fans 2 and 3 are not working whereas system fan 1 is working, any help, thanks.

In your manual, page 34 says the fan systems are accessed in BIOS through the M.I.T system menu. On page 42 it describes the settings for the three System Fans.

First, make sure your 3-pin fan connectors are plugged into the 4-pin mobo headers correctly. There is a slot on the connector side, and a tongue rising from the header, that must align. When connected this way, the fans normally will run at full speed all the time. That is the default mode of backwards compatibility for 3-pin fans connected to 4-pin headers - there is no speed control, but the fans DO work and the mobo monitoring system CAN read each fan's actual speed. I suspect that this should work if the ports' options are set to "Normal", and possibly even at any of the settings. IF there is a "Ignore" or "Disabled" setting, do NOT use that.

Thank you for your response, I have tried all of this, if this is any help speed fan recognises that they are pkugged into the motherboard but their speed is 0 as they are not spinning :/

OK, you have one fan working and two that do not. Try this as a diagnostic. Unplug the one that works, and plug it into another SYS_Fan port. Then the third port. Does it work on any of those?

Next, try each fan that does NOT work plugged into the SYS_FAN1 port. Do they work there?

These will tell you whether the problem is the fans or the ports. If the fans all work but only on the #1 port, then call Gigabyte Tech Support and tell them to give you the right instructions or authorize a return and replacement of the faulty mobo.
