win2k wastes over a gig on my 18 gig scsi HD. when i format the drive it says there is16.8 gig out of 16.9 left, but when i look at the drive under defrag, there is a big green block at the start - system files. the problem is when i add files to the drive, the system files suddenly take space so that when i delete all my files there is still only 15.6 gig left.
i have seven partitions and this happens in all but the two fat 32 partitions (the others are ntfs) and the one win 2k is on.
it is a waste of space and when i capture i want it to capture to the start of the drive which i think is the fastest part not after the sys files.
how do i stop win2k doing this?
