My latest HDD crash reminded me that if I ever had a recovery disc or USB, it is long gone.

Now that things are settle down a bit, I thought I'd make one. Except my PC says "no".

So...certain files are missing. Do I do an autorepair for that? I only have my original Win 10 key, so I am cagey about messing with that.

Thanks for your time.

That is not working right since W7, what you need is full system disk backup and keep it current.

I think that's what I'm trying to do?

I also tried, return to last stable...something, during the last crash and that would work, either.
You need 3rd party program for backup, Hasleo is good and free.
