Question System freezes when I tab out of a game ?

Brand new system
B650m-a PRO MSI
Ryzen 5 7600
RX 6700 XT
32GB DDR5 5800

When I'm playing fortnite and want to check a YouTube video for example, the game will instantly freeze as soon as I try and tab out.

Any suggestions on what could cause this?

Everything is up to date. Windows 11, GPU drivers up to date, and latest bios.

Win 11 has been blamed for this phenomenon. Do you play in fullscreen mode when gaming? This can cause the system to freeze because this makes the game priority for the gpu hardware, tabbing out of the game can cause an error for the gpu and freeze your pc. You can try using windowed mode to see if it helps. One other thing to try is to turn off/on(to see if each setting fixes the problem) hardware acceleration in your browser.
