system not posting/ won't turn off

Specs: AMD fx4300mother board : gigabyte ga-78Lmt-usb3 ram: Corsair vengence ddr3 1333 8 gigs graphics card: Zotac gtx 1050 mini power supply:thermal take tr2 430 watt HDD: Western digital blue 1terrabite. Ight so I've had this problem on top of many other problems with this computer and the other day I go to turn it on, I pressed the power button. LEDs and fans turn on, nothing posts and the only way I can now turn it off is by the power switch on the power supply. I've reset cmos with new battery, reseated the GPU and ram. Still no post. Made sure everything has power and is plugged in right. Still nothing. Please help me

Can you attempt to just plug in your display cable/hdmi directly into the motherboard instead of the GPU and see if it will work.
