System posts randomly

Hello everyone,

I've got a problem with my pc, which I built around 4 years ago. From 2 months or so, my pc almost never posts anymore. When i turn on the pc, fans and leds work perfectly, but i have no signal to the monitor and the hdd won't boot either. Sometimes the mobo speaker gives me "3 short beeps, short pause, 3 short beeps, long pause" in loop, sometimes absolute silence. It won't turn off unless I disconnect the psu.

I tried clearing cmos, tried breadboarding, tried with both ram sticks, tried with no ram sticks (which got me sometimes silence and sometimes "no ram beep code" as expected) but the results are the same.

I also tried memtest when my pc was on and it gave me no errors, so I assume the ram sticks are fine..?

I have no bulging or leaking capacitors (at least I can't see them) so I'm wondering if I have a dead mobo or something else... Do you have any suggestions?

My specs are:
PSU: corsair cx430
Mobo: asrock extreme4+ fm2a88m
Cpu: AMD A10-6800K
Ram: G.Skill Ares F3-1866C9D 8GB

From your motherboard manual:

* If you adopt DDR3 1866/1600 memory modules on this motherboard, it is
recommended to install them on DDR3_ A2 and DDR3_B2 slot

Try lowering your memory speed to 1600mhz in the BIOS, to see if that makes any difference.

Yes, I've already done that but unfortunately it changes nothing! (I've always had the sticks in that configuration)
