Have you checked the Crucial mx500 Firmware version:

I would also check the Kingston drive firmware as well. I had issues with my Kingston drive. As you haven't indicated the Kingston Drive Model, the link for the common SSD Drive firmware is below:

Yes I already updated the Crucial firmware but it did not fix anything. It was kind of a mess to get it to update it too. The Kingston one I will do as well but I bought it a month or so ago so it's definitely not the cause. I have Windows on that one and so far it hasn't crashed.
