Question System reboots while gaming unless I underclock my GPU

My computer has been automatically restarting while I've been gaming but only on 2 games, Star Citizen and Escape from Tarkov. On Star Citizen it can restart at any time but mostly occurring as soon as I load into the gameworld, I wasn't able to repeat it consistently and so couldn't accurately troubleshoot the problem. I made a post about this before and the conclusion was most likely that my PSU was failing. I recently bought Escape from Tarkov and my computer consistently reboots at a certain point in the loading screen and so I got to work troubleshooting everything I could think of.

Here is a list of things I have tried and the results:

• Reseating CPU/ Reapplying thermal paste to cooler: Still rebooting.
• Turning the graphics settings to minimum: I was able to get into a few games without problems but it was still rebooting the majority of the time.
• Underclocking my CPU: Still rebooting.
• Turning my CPU on auto-overclocking: Again I was able to load into a few games without problems but still rebooting the majority of the time.
• Removing all but one stick of ram: Still rebooting.
• Testing each stick of RAM and individual slots: Still rebooting.
• Turned on/off XMP profile 1 and 2: Still rebooting.
• Enabled maximum power saving mode on Windows: Still rebooting.
• Clean installation of Windows and all drivers: Still rebooting.
• Underclocking GPU by 200Mhz: Works perfectly with no rebooting.

I should note that it has never rebooted during a stress test/benchmark or while playing other demanding games(DayZ/Arma 3/Rust/CS:GO). Also all of this started after I recently upgraded my CPU, motherboard and RAM but kept my old PSU, graphics card and SSD. Also when it reboots, none of the fans/lights stop or flicker at all.

I'm looking for advice on how to test which component is the problem, my GPU or my PSU or if its possibly something else.

GPU: MSI GTX 970
PSU: CoolerMaster B600 ver.2 600w
SSD: Samsung Evo 970 M.2 NVMe 500GB
Case: Corsair Carbide Spec-Omega with 5 120mm fans, 2 intake and 3 exhaust
OS: Windows 10 Pro

Reset the BIOS by jumper clrCMOS or JBAT or similar (eventually you will have to set the boot priority correctly after that)

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

clean boot

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

run the RAM @2133MHz to check if it happens then too

check the hard drive for errors with its manufacturer´s tool

use ddu uninstaller and reinstall the latest graphics driver

That's a pretty atrocious quality PSU to be running on a system like this; ancient group-regulated design more suitable for something from 1999, dirt-cheap JunFu capacitors, etc. This shouldn't have ever been brought over from an old build in any case, so replacing it when you have symptoms that are very frequently PSU-related is a real no-brainer. In any case, even if the cause is something else, it's hard to really pin it down until you've ruled out a rather low-quality PSU.

I cleared the CMOS, no problems with Windows integrity, started Windows with a clean boot, turned off XMP and RAM is running at 2133Mhz, samsung magician says my SSD is in good health, used DDU to remove old GPU drivers then reinstalled the new drivers and reset my GPU clock speeds to normal.

Unfortunately it still reboots in the games loading screen
