I have seen a fiew similar topics, and I've read abt how I can shrink the System reserved space,
However I dont want to be rash and want to make sure I'm not gonna mess this up,
After I bought a new laptop(with W10 setup) I noticed that the C drive had 116 GB space, abt 80 GB free of that, and then I checked and found out that the system reserved space is taking up to 367 GB which is insane, as shown in the pics below.
Pls help, thnx

Solution
1. Based on the screenshot of Disk Management you submitted there doesn't seem to be any major problem with the configuration of your 500 GB boot drive. (Note that the first two partitions on the drive are simply the Recovery Partition & (I assume) the System Reserved partition (I assume your OS is Win 7, yes?). They take up only 550 MB (that's MEGABYTES, NOT GIGABYTES)

2. You can use Disk Management to Extend the C partition so that it will encompass the 348+ GB of Raw disk-space following the C partition. So that will provide virtually the entire disk-space of that drive for your OS + all other data.
One way is to wipe your drive to get rid of all the bloatware and system recovery junk, make a single fresh partition and roll your own Windows install.

Backup the stock partitions to an external HDD before doing that though.

Good catch!
Why a new PC would be configured to have most of the space inaccessible is beyond me.
It seems so dumb, I never considered that.
D'oh!

We've found in many similar cases of weird drive configurations of one kind or another that the user has purchased the PC through eBay or some other source and unknowingly purchased a "refurbished" or used PC. We attempt to urge users to purchase PC components from generally reliable online vendors, e.g., Amazon, Newegg & the like.

Do you have to delete the RAW partition first?
Try EaseUS Partition Master.

I like using it better than Windows Disk Management.

Ordinarily the Disk Management Extend option should be available when the following disk-space is "RAW", as it is in your case. But I understand from your screenshot that the Extend option is grayed out. So try to create a "normal" partition of that RAW space (using DM). Assuming it's successful, then delete the partition and try DM again to extend the C partition to encompass the resulting unallocated disk-space. The option should be available at that point.

The option to extend the C partition is grayed out because there is no unallocated space next to it,(I guess)
I can't create a partition out of the RAW space cause it is already a partition, I have the option to either shrink it, or delete it *as you asked*
What I need to know is, if there's a risk of fucking things up if I do so, (I don't know much) could it screw the OS and any system related functions ?

Ty
