Question System restarting in windows setup

I have downgraded my processor from i5 to i3, both are first generation processors, but windows is not booting up, restarting at windows logo. I have tried installing new windows but it still restart on windows logo when booting up from usb

exact model of these cpu? motherboard?
reason for the change?
check for bend pin?

I5 750 replaced by i3 550.
Reason: graphic card is dead and I5 750 doesn’t have built in display capabilities.
Pins are fine, checked twice

I haven’t updated the bios yet, if that the case so I will try after upgrading this. The board was working fine with my I5 though

like you said one have igpu, the other one don't. they a different core family

Yes they are different in term of graphic capability, let me try with that and will update you accordingly
