In my system volume information folder I've got RP's going back to
january. Only the ones for the last 20 days show up on the calendar in
System Restore. And NONE of them work.

At the end of the restore process the screen comes up with a message
about not being able to restore from this restore point and that no
changes were made. No other messages.

I've been googling for the last hour and a half and found nothing
helpfull.

Any specific site recomendations for this problem?

I'd really like to go to one of the RP's 60 days old. Is there a way
to do this?

Larry;
There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.

Hi Larry,

In addition to Jupiter Jones's good advise, the restore point may have
been damaged by a virus of malware infection. Here is some information
on keeping System Restore Healthy
