When run, I get message that 'no changes have been made to system" Have
turned SR off for a few days and then turned back on and created restore
point. . Still will not restore. Did the re-boot as suggested in previous
messages here. "Undo last restore option" is missing from the wizzard.
Restore will not work in SafeMode either. At wits end with this.
Restore points are few and far between, but have 88% free space on
harddrive. Saw an SR event log error a few days ago but none today.......I
just checked. Have no spies or virses on computer. Just ran Norton and
Microsoft spyware programs yesterday.

Hi

Try and reinstall SR. Open Windows Explorer and go to the windows\inf
folder. In the right hand pane find the sr.inf file, right click on it and
select Install.

downloaded from Microsoft website....... I only found the Service Pack 2

I had the same exact problem. I then tried it again after removing my
external hard drive and now SR works OK.
