System Start up Problem

Hello

I have:
120gb kingston hyper-x 3k ssd
1tb WD blue hdd
i5 4690 cpu
msi B85-G41 pc mate mother board
8gb ram
windows 8.1

My problem is that I can not start up windows I get the blue windows logo and nothing else. After messing around in the bios and restarting and unplugging the computer I can sometimes get it to boot but now nothing is working to get it to boot. At first I used the ssd in my laptop to install the os and some programs and it worked fine in there never had a problem. I would really like some help because this is driving me nuts not being able to use my desktop that I spend over $1000 on.

You cannot install Windows on one machine, then use the same on another box and expect to boot there. It would be nice, but Microsoft doesn't want you to do that way.

okay I reinstalled windows 8.1 on the ssd but when the installation process required a restart the computer just froze and it will not do anything right now

And when you install windows on another drive in that machine?

Also where did you get this copy of windows?
