System Upgrade Recommendations?

I built a gaming PC for my grandson about 16 months ago and it has worked out well.

I now want to upgrade the system for faster gaming and video editing and am looking for recommendation on upgrades that will provide the most benefit for the least effort & cost. I'd like to avoid replacing the MB if possible.

Here's what the system has now:

MB: ASRock B75M
CPU: Intel I3 2120 3.3 GHz 3M
RAM: 8GB Kingston KVR1333
HD: WD 500GB Sata 3
GFX: XFX AMD Radeon HD 6870 (HD-687A-ZHFC) 1 GB
OS: Win 7 Pro

Huh! You could sell this graphics card as used on eBay, but I doubt you can sell it for similar price. Check other people that sell same card and then set price or just sell it to someone without using internet. If you don't want to sell it save it for some other PC as replacement. But selling will get you some money so you can buy a bit more expensive GPU and pay same ammount. I am saying this because GPU is deffinatly a component which matters most in gaming and 3D editing. Most games are a lot more GPU than CPU intensive. Can you please tell me what is your budget because that will help to find best GPU for that price. Thank you in advance!

What is the make/model of PSU ? Here is a decent card for gaming and other jobs. And all you need is a better GPU.
