My Windows 10 computer crashed while playing a game, and the computer will no longer boot. I’ve tried chkdsk and bcd and scf. None of those fix the problem. For awhile it was saying “number of windows installations=0”. I’ve gotten it to say “number of windows installations=1” but then it’s unable to recognize that installation.

The source of the problem seems to be that the volume holding the system files is set to hidden somehow. Using disk partition to “attributes volume clear hidden “ with that volume selected doesn’t work. A screen shot is below (blurry, sorry). The computer has two SSDs. Volume 2/letter D is the main drive. Volume 3 is the hidden system partition. (I also tried deleted and recreating the partition, which didn't seem to change anything.) Volume 5 is the recovery USB. I don't know what Volume 1, 4, and 6 are about.

Any new ideas? Thanks so much in advance -- and Merry Xmas.
