System will begin the burn process but stops in middle and says please

system will begin the burn process but stops in middle and says please enter blank disc. but it will play cds just not burn???

The disc which you are Inserted is corrupted. Insert new fresh blank disc and try again. And use very good software for burning like Nero, U-lead.
