[SOLVED] System won’t boot past bios

Sapphire tri x 290
Fx8350
Corsair xms3 2x4 gb
Gigabyte 990fxa ud3
Photon 800w psu

I can’t get my pc to get to the login screen, my bios can read my cpu and ram so I’m not sure the issue, it goes to a black screen that looks like a command prompt but nothing pops up

I can see my seagate 1TB hard drive, and my Bios says “other os” but I think it says that because I never updated the bios even though it’s worked for awhile like that
Don't see why would you need to update BIOS because of that. First thing would be to check HDD and/or try to fix Windows if that is your OS. It looks like boot sector is damaged. That's a typical syndrome.
