I have a older system that I just formated the HD on and would like to install Windows 98 or ME. I created a boot disk from another system I have and inserted it into the A: Drive. Bios is set to boot from the A: Drive, too.
When the system starts I accept the message to boot with CDROM support. Okay so far, right? Wrong!
The OTI-91X ATAPI CD-ROM device driver loads and finds 1 drive. Good!
However, when the AIC-6260/6360/6370 ASPI Manager for DOS trys to load the system hangs with the A😀rive light constantly on. I'm stumped! What do I do now to get this bloody thing to load the CD-ROM drivers?
Thanks in advance for your help!
