Heloo,
I have laptop which I dont use. I would like to make some kind of HTPC with its board.
CPU is T7200, GPU nVidia 7900 GS GO and 4 GB of ram.

I installed win7 and gpu drivers ( HDMI dont work without GPU drivers ) but it reproduce youtube video almost in frames. 720p is better but not much.

TV is FULL HD Sony Bravia KDL 40Z4500 and when put resolution on laptop to 1080p, I must set scalling or if it is other PC with AMD gpu, i must put scalling to 5%.

What Im doing wrong? Is T7200, 4 GB ram, and 7900 GS GO enough to play youtube in 1080p on my TV? Thanks

Solution
acer 9520 version with 7900 GS go and T7200 CPU I changed only from 2 to 4 GB of ram.
I don't think that could handle 1080p video play back on external display.
I just tried a similar configured Dell XPS M1710 and it is skipping, choppy, jerky and it pauses every 3-5 seconds.
