Hello! Asking to the community if this PSU is at least worth the buy.

http://www.tacens.es/power-supplies/power-supplies/radix-vi-ag/

Tacens Radix VII AG 600 W.

It is priced at 40-50 euro in my country, offers 504 watts at the 12 volts range. I have a Club 3d 7950 graphic card that needs 200 w, but i think overclock it. But if the PSU is good, 504 is more than enough to run it.

What are your opinion about this PSU?

Thanks!

p.s.: Oh, fogot to say that it has a 80 plus silver certification, which seems atractive too!

Solution
okay a 550 watt will easily be enough to power your components and give some room for overclocking.
Here are my thoughts. If it would be possible to scrape together a few extra euros to get the XFX 550 core edition, I would highly recommend it. It is a very reliable PSU. If it is not possible, then either go for the VS550 from corsair or the Tacens you had described earlier. I am leaning more towards the tacens over the corsair.
The cheapest Seasonic unit in my country 500 watts +++, starts at 69 €, is too much for me.

I already spent a lot upgrading the graphic card, cant spend much on PSU 😀

I can get a Corsair VS550 for 50 €, but that PSU has not a good reputation either .

A corsair cx 500 here starts at 65€, any Antec 500w + is very expensive aswell, maybe i can get a xfx 550 for 60. But is already too much :/

I use this site to look because it includes the majority of stores here, so i can have an ideia where it is cheaper.

Just went to a store near my house now, and the guy told me they have some nox, halfmman etc, i think they are bad PSUs 😀 Could you make some research in the site i gave you and look for something good.

Any problem tell me, thanks very much !

I have my system working with a HiPro 250 w for 4 and a half years.

Never had a problem with power.

Intel i5 650 3.2ghz
nvidia gt320
2x samsung 2 gb ram
1 hdd, 1 case fan, 1 drive.

So nvidia gt 320 needs 47 watts i think, so my system should be 200 watts max consumption without any graphic card.

Allright, the xfx i think i can get for 57, and the vs 550 for 46, which i am more alike to buy.

Both have enough power, they sey that corsair vs is pretty bad built, so it isnt trustable even being a corsair.

Where do you find out the specifics about who makes each PSU? I had trouble finding any sort of details on tacens.
