Hello Everyone. I recently got myself a basic mechanical keyboard that I use a lot 24/7 and I decided to give it a quick maintenance. Problem is that when trying to clean in between the keys, I don't know how to clean it from there in the sense of taking off the keys. I'm afraid of breaking off the keys from the keyboard, even though its a basic, cheap keyboard. Would really appreciate the step-by-step process. Thanks!! 😀

Maybe the brand of the keyboard would help a little more since the key assembly on keyboards might be different. The simplest and most standard way to remove a key from a keyboard is to insert a flathead screw driver under the key and twist until the key pops off. Once you remove all the keys you wanted to remove you can use a cloth or compressed air to fully clean it. Once you are done cleaning the keyboard you can simply place the key in its designated spot and snap it onto place.
