Tape to secure hard drive in bay and wiring ?

I have some heavy duty clear scotch tape on my hard drive on the bottom part of my hard drive cage. Doesn’t move at all in all positions of how the case is. It’s flat onto the bottom and my wiring is taped up to the sides and ceiling of my case ( sata cables, cpu cable, unused hard drive power cables@ the ceiling are the only wires taped.) the cpu motherboard power is onto a built in clip so that’s not taped my question is, is this okay ? Electrical issues and static wise.

:lol:, that would have only been funnier if it was duct tape. Btw zip ties are what most use for cable managment. Tape won't create any electrical issue but it will collect dust and being scotch tape it will become brittle and break apart.

Lol I’m not that ghetto but yeah I know zip ties my thing is is there any alternative to both ? Id rather have it hanged up secured then cable tied and hanging down ? I have no issues doing this the right way expensive parts !

Use adhesive tie mounts with the zip ties.

Should be available at most hardware stores and electrical supply stores.

PCB of hdd touching any metal parts is a big no-no.

I’ll cut a rubber piece and put it under it then. That’s what my hard drive was in before
