I have an Intel Core i7 4790k, 16 gb Ram xmp, 4 HDD not in RAID, Corsair H100iGTX liquid cooler, gtx 970, ASUS ROG Maximus VII Hero mobo.
I been having BSOD for the past couple months now, I finally beleve I found the issue.
Here are the target frequency speeds currently set in the BIOS. I have not messed with much other then the RAM speed settings In the bios readout
Target CPU Turbo-Mode Frequency: 4800Mhz
Target DRAM frequency: 1600Mhz
Target Cache Frequency: 4000Mhz
Target DMI/PEG Frequency: 100Mhz
Target CPU Graphics Frequency: 100Mhz
BIOS voltages
+12v is 12.192
+5v is 5.080
+3.3v is 3.376
All the BSOD are hardware related and I beleve the target CPU Turbo Frequency is set too high?
Is my assumption correct? I'm relatively new to the custom PC master race, and this is my first build. I'm tired of the BSOD, and I'll post the BSOD data if requested thank you
