Tascam us-428 driver for windows 7

I have a bad feeling Tascam won't release a driver for the Tascam US-428 for Windows 7. Does anyone know where anyone is?

3.40 works fine for me in Win 7 - but you do have to switch the blue wonder off before shutting down Win 7!

Hi, just getting back to the Midi side of these issues again
K Foltman did loads of work on the Tascam/Reaper issue & wrote a driver that sorted out the problems but unfortunately with the advent of Windows 7 32 & 64 bit versions the problem has resurfaced.

I'm running 7 @ 32 bit at present but intend re-chipping my workstation. Regardless of this the driver seems to have no truck with 7 at all on the Midi

Would anybody out there like to dedicate their valuable time to this (because I'm to stupid to do it )?

Apparently alot of Vista drivers will work with Windows 7, so the Vista ones Tascam released may work. My roomie is getting a new machine with Windows 7 next week, so I'll try plugging it in and use the Vista drivers and see.

how about we hire a programmer to work out the drivers 4 win 7 x 64 bit , since it works any way , witn the vista drivers , but with many bule screens.. n never touch tascam products again... as a lesson.. best wishes
