Question Task manager needs to close programs

Hi,
I am getting an error of task manager needs to close one program in shutdown. Clean install of win 10 a week ago. The problem started three days ago all on a sudden. What could be the problem?

Does the message specify a name of the program ?

It does specify the name, not always; but its for a very short period of time, so cant be seen.

If you have apps active when you shut down, it's normal to get that message.

Thanks for your answer. Should I wait for a specified period of time after completing my tasks for shut down.

If you wait 45 seconds or so, most active tasks will be shut down automatically. But I like to keep the Task Manager running, and that usually doesn't get shut down, so I just click the "restart anyway" button, and I've never seen any ill effects. If you happen to have an app that's updated something and not saved it, I'd want to be sure it's been saved, but otherwise I've never had a problem clicking "restart anyway".
