Question Task Manager -- "Power Usage is Very High" ?

What does it mean when I go into task manager and a program is Power Usage is Very high??
(Ive noticed this for different apps)

I tried googling this but never got a definitive answer .

Any help would be greatly appreciated

FYI my specs are;
Window 10 Pro
GTX 3080TI
32gb RAM
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
800W PSU

if the apps in question are all games, it sort of makes sense as they using a bunch of different parts in PC, and windows calculates how much they are using.

The new feature will allow you to view the current power usage on a per-app basis. As well as monitor the system resources an app takes up over time. For example, it uses the disk, processor, and graphics usage on each app and processes to calculate the overall energy impact on your system.
The Power usage column displays how much power the app or service is drawing in real-time.

on a desktop PC, I wouldn't worry too much about that row. Expect its more helpful on laptops running off battery.

Oh is that all.
That a relive, I was thinking that my PSU was starting to fail and not providing enough power to my system.

Windows really has no way to tell how the power supply is going.

if It was a power problem, you would find out in other ways apart from task manager
