Yeah, it's reading something wrong, get the free app CPU-Z and check the memory tab it will show true freq the DRAM is at (so take that times 2 for effective data rate the sticks are running at)
in cpu-z it's showing 800mhz double that for 1600mhz which is what's written on the ram sticks. So should I try re-seating the ram or just ignore task manager? I can't even view ram info in bios it's very limited.
