Taskbar in fullscreen

My taskbar won't hide when I enter fullscreen, I know about auto-hide but I dont want it to hide when Im not fullscreen...any tips

this seems to be a fix that needs to be made by maker of the games, not windows itself. I have seen it on many forums talking about the game and its often a patch from the game maker that is needed to fix it.

I dont think its that, it doesnt happen during games it only really happens when im watching things on youtube etc...

what gpu have you got and have you got latest drivers? i just tried it and the taskbars hide in full screen youtube via chrome

Using GTX 770 now and yes I have the latest drivers

Yeah using chrome, thanks for the links couldnt find much on the topic, seems it is just a chrome problem

I solved this in 2 steps:

1. Open TaskManager (right click on taskbar or CTRL_ALT+DELETE)
2. Right-click on Windows Explorer, than click on Restart.
