Taskbar is flashing

I am using microsoft windows7.My taskbar is always flashing.how can i stop it.please help me.

The whole task bar is flashing? Or just some of the icons ON the taskbar?

When you hide the taskbar does any other running program window cause the bottom of the screen to flash?
Are you running some kind of custom desktop theme?

There's a thread here discussing this issue. One suggestion is that it is related to the video driver.

What make/model is your PC and do you know which video card it uses?
