I bought a TCL L43P2US 4K TV but the max I could get out of it was 30hz. I am not sure about if the TV uses HDMI 2.0 or not so I can't really tell about that. For my htpc I am currently using a g3258 paired with a gtx 660(which I think could be holding it back as I am using HDMI, it has display port though, think it could work? I don't have a cable with me right now so I can't test it) I am a little hesitant on buying a gtx 950 as I read somewhere it can do 4k60hz but I would like to know what you guys think I should do. Thanks in advance!

Did you want audio pass through over HDMI too? That complicates things further.

DP can do audio but it's not guaranteed. I don't know whether your 660 can send audio out the DP port. That adapter I linked says it'll pass digital audio too. But I don't know whether the 660 can do it.

Yeah that's the thing, I am not entirely sure if the TV is HDMI 2.0 and that would SUCK if it didn't. By the way, audio isn't a problem for me, I would just really want to display to work as it should. I have emailed them and I am waiting for a reply whether or not the TV is HDMI 2.0. Other than that, is there anything else I should do?
