Well I finally got my Shadow and I love the game!! HOWEVER......
When I first got the Inner Sanctum magnet was inconsistent. Sometimes it
would grab the ball and vanish it and sometimes it wouldn't. So after
searching of rgp I tried multiple things to fix it and got it working quite
well (leveled it perfectly and aligned it to 6.5 degrees and made some minor
adjustments to the switch).
NOW all the sudden the game has gone completely schizo ....
1) Whenever you shoot the ball up the right ramp it triggers the ball lock
so it basically gives you credit for locking a ball when you didn't
**the above was the only problem for several hours of play last night until
the last 5-10 mins and then all the below started to occur and has continued
into today. Everything else was playing great except this and I played for
at least 3 hours last night.
2) Coils just randomly start going off (slings, divertors, sanctum ball
lock mech, ejector from the right side scoop saucer etc.)
3) I can cup the ball in a flipper and hold then the game will randomly
score points on its own with no movement or contact from me.
4) The game will randomly tilt all on its own.
5) The game will launch multiple balls from shooter, sometimes off the
start and sometimes just at random during play.
This last problem has been a problem since I got it.
6) The extra ball button does not work (ie won't let you buy in). However
if you test it in switch tests it works perfectly. I have checked all
adjustments and have everything turned on thats supposed to be on to make it
work.
**I should mention I have checked all switches and coils in test mode and
EVERYTHING works perfectly. Also I have checked all wires and connections
and everything seems fine. There are no busted/burnt connectors and no
problems to speak of on any of the boards. I do know that oned of the Tip
102s on the main board was replaced before I got it.
I have used both LX5 and LX6 roms and these problems are still present.
Looking for any help I can get as I have already invested a lot of time in
attempting to diganose whats wrong and fix it -- with no luck.
