In Civilization 6 the tech tree and the civics tree have been split up so that you are essentially 'researching' two different tech trees at the same time. So how do you keep track of which is which, and how do you advance them faster?
Step 1)What is the tech tree?
The tech tree is where all of the technologies can be found that you can research using science points. Each technology will lead to another, and you must research the technologies that came before it before you can advance to the more advanced technologies, to the right. You can queue up for your civilization to research multiple technologies by selecting one advanced technology that you want to strive for, and your civilization will then just research everything needed to get there one after the other.
Step 2)What is the Civics tree?
The civics tree is basically exactly the same as the tech tree, but in that technologies researched here generally provide you with different policy cards to use with your government, and everything is advanced using culture that your civilization generates.
Step 3)How to generate science and culture to advance.
There are many ways to generate each of these resources, but the main way to get science is to build campus districts, and culture is produced by theater districts.
Proper use of those districts, as well as wonders that will generate these resources as well, can put you ahead of the game and give you a good technological edge over your enemies.
