Temp Variance After Delid

Hello all! I recently completed my first delid and I notice that when running a stress test there was some temperature variance in the cores. Is this normal? When the PC is idle the temps are all 1 or 2 degrees off from each other. Thanks in advance.

I was just curious because that 13 degree difference seemed high.

totally normal not every core is doing the same thing at the same time. When you are benching some cores are still running os and other things while some cores are only running the bench. It would be weird if they were all the same. I have an 8 core i7 and the temps are usually within 15 degrees of each other and thats with custom water cooling.

Gotcha! Thank you for the reply. I was just worried after the delid I may have a bad spread on thermal paste or something. you running a delidded cpu?
