Hi, i recently upgrade to i5-9600kf (I don't OC) with Cryorig H7 (not the quad lumi) in NZXT H500 case. When i play COD:MW, the temperature around 66-67°C with spike peak to 71°C, never above. For idle in windows, around 38-40°C. My ambient temperature around 27-30°C.

My question are :
  1. Is it okay to play game with that temperature?
  2. Do i need to upgrade my CPU cooler ? Im planning to upgrade to Noctua NH-D15S. Or any other cooler that better than Cryorig H7? Im not planning to OC it for a while (my highest budget only for Noctua NH-D15S)
  3. Or can i just replace the H7 fan with Noctua NF-F12 ? Will it reduce temperature even more ?
Im not planning to use AIO Watercooler due to the leak risk (yes, i know its very rare)

Cheers, thank you. Sorry for my bad english

Temperatures are fine.
You can mildly OC the 9600KF with the H7... 4.6-4.7 GHz all core, I wouldn't go further because I imagine temps getting up there at higher frequencies

The Cryorig H7 supports up to a 140W TDP. Overclocking to 5 GHz, the 9600KF will draw up to 180W from this Tom's Hardware review(it's the 9600K there, they're basically the same chip with the KF having no iGPU):

I5-9600K overclocking

Going that far with the OC will require a cooler upgrade, the D15S would be a nice choice.

For now though, if OC isn't your main goal the H7 is enough.

Solution
1)Yes.
2)No. If you are not planning to overclock the cpu, a new cooler WILL NOT reduce temps significantly. You will end up wasting money. There are serious diminishing returns in regards to cpu cooler capacity. Your H7 is fine running the 9600KF at stock operation.
3)Not enough to be meaningful. Your temps are fine.

Yes thank you, im still satisfied with base clock

The temps are a bit on the warm side but are generally fine. Have you checked the cooler is seated properly? What is the ambient temperature of your room and how is the airflow in your case?

I live in Indonesia, the ambient in my room around 27-30°C. Yes i already re-applied thermal paste to make sure. The airflow i use negative pressure in my NZXT H500 and nothing blocked the intake

Thank you, i really appreciate it
