Hi I don't know if this is already done or not I don't think as I couldn't find it. But I was thinking if there is any demand. To create a page that has normal operating ranges for Cpu and Gpu and ofcourse post the max so people know if they are going over the temperature limit. It came to me to do this as I see so many post on here and yahoo answers that ask is this temp good, low or high. I myself was wondering what the max for my card was and couldn't find it? Is anyone interested? yes or no?

for the most part, staying under 50°C is preferable. You can go higher, staying under 75°C is what you need to be running at what I and I believe most people call safe to run. Over 75°C on any CPU is what I and I believe most consider bad, unsafe, hazardous, and dangerous. As far as GPU's go, they can survive around 120°C as long as it is for short times, and they can run around 110°C for a bit. However, I and most people can probably agree while you can run a GPU over 100°C, it shortens the life of the GPU, it can damage the GPU, and is overall not good to be over 100°C. In a brief summary, most CPU's enter the "hazard" zone around 75°C and above, and most GPU's can run over 100°C, but that can shorten the life of them and cause damage, it is best if you can keep GPU's under 100°C. Hope that helps.
