Yes, but this way I can still game at the same time, and get a more representative look at my personal usage.If you're just checking cooling, there's not a huge need to log data. I oftentimes just run Prime95 and/or FurMark (depending on what you're stress testing) with HWInfo64 open. Reset the values before you start. Then I just visually watch temps as the respective stress tests are running.
The nice thing about Prime95/Furmark is that they load the CPU/GPU to 100% usage and maintain that load. Whereas a game or something is going to apply varying load.
