Hi guys.

I currently have this system:

Intel i5 - 3570k (with stock cooler)
ASRock Extreme 4 m-ATX motherboard
GPU: GTX 670
600W Corsair Builder
8gb ram,
1terrobyte HDD,

Now, I like to record in-game footage of World of Warcraft.

MY CPU On Idle it seems to be around 45 - 50 degrees with NO games being played. literally just the internet and Skype.

When I actually start playing the game iw ill go up to around 60-65. Then when I record it will go up to around 70-75..

Is that reasonable and is it ok to carry on? I also live stream which sees the same temperatures as recording. I know playing without recording temperatures are fine but I'm just a little concerned with the temps when recording.

Thanks :) I know Ivy bridges are able to be hotter etc, just a little concerned and don't have enough money right now to purchase an aftermarket cooler just yet.

you are running hot... When the cpu reaches 97 it will shut the pc off on it's own. it's not good, but at least you have a failsafe.

the hyper 212 cooler could be a reasonable choice for only 40$
otherwise try leaving the case open, add a 10$fan, or/and clean the existing fans
