Hello everyone,

My new case has tempered glass side panels, and I've read those can explode unexpectedly. While I also read that damage to the components is unlikely, all my stuff is new and I'm not looking forward to cleaning or taking apart any of my new components. So I've come up with the idea of placing a plastic mosquito net between the inside of the case and the tempered glass. So that if the tempered glass chooses to blow up, it will go outside the case and not touch any of my components.

I bought a mosquito net that is 35% fiberglass and 65% PVC. It will not be touching any components but in any case I want to make sure that it is non-conductive. Do you think this is a good idea? Is there something else I should consider before putting it in place?

Thank you

The possibility of that happening is tiny tiny tiny.

Does it happen? Yeah, sure.
About on the same possibility of your cat knocking the tower off the desk.

"I've read..." leads to a lot of things that are not a real concern.

You're right. But the possibility really bothers me and I feel like I could save myself a big headache if I did this.
