Hi,

I firmly believe my MSI B450 Tomahawk Max mobo did not come with the M.2 screw its supposed to - I watched countless unboxing videos to confirm where it’s supposed to be.

Anyways, there are 2 similar screws on the back of the mobo being used to hold another mobo piece (don’t know what it is) down.

I have front and back pictures to show. It didn’t budge much after I removed the bottom of the two screws to test it but I want to be safe here. Does anyone know what that is and if borrowing a screw from it for a couple days is safe?

Ty!

VRM heatsink. Pretty sure those screws holding VRM heatsink are different from M.2 screw.

I wouldn’t be surprised. However, the screw fit into the standoff that was in the motherboard already. Just not sure if I should use it while I wait to hopefully get another M.2 screw. The SSD is my only storage on the PC right now
