Temps of Graphics cards?

Hi all running 8800GTX (sweet card) during heavy gaming it reaches temps of around 78'C.

Is this too hot? or in range?

Temp of a graphics card depends on how well it is cooled and ambient temp.I dont own a 8800GTX, but i can assure you that it's an ok temp.I mean c'mon my 6600GT idles at 63'C and reaches even 100'C (too hot in here)

that temp is fine, i remember some 6800ultras hitting 120oC

Mine easily reaches 80c when playing game, so 78c is fine. 8)

you know you can turn the fan up to 100% manually with Ntune. the default is 60%.

not all drivers support manual fan control im using 97.94 and fan control works well with these.

although the settings dont stick after reboot.

but it knocks 10c off temps having it at 100%

I have Ntune and have looked and looked, where can I manually up the fan?

I don't think you can change the fan speed by nTune.
Maybe you should try RivaTuner.

Those temps are fine, but try googling for coolbits if you want to mess around with fan settings and such. It's an app that unlocks a lot of features in the forceware drivers, with it you should be able to force the fan to 100% and therfore get a few more mhz out of your gpu too.
