[SOLVED] Temps on current CPUs and if they're important for a SFF gaming PC

Background: I am currently designing my first SFF gaming PC. This is supposed to be a secondary, air-cooled unit that I use for browsing while playing on my other PC, but that I also take with me and use for gaming on occasion.

I am trying to pick a CPU, but I am unsure
  • how important is it that I take a CPU with low temps, and
  • how big the differences actually are between current CPUs.

My current thoughts are:
  • Intel 13600KF: high value for money, but probably the hottest of the bunch.
  • Intel 13600: lower wattage variant of the above, so I hope less heat.
  • AMD Ryzen 5 7600: the I hope least hot of the pack.

But I found no comparisons between those regarding the temps, and I have no idea how important those temps would be anyway in a SFF. Currently planned case is Cooler Master MasterBox NR200P, if that's important.

Can anyone advise?

Hm. Do you also use the cooler mentioned in the video, aka "be quiet! Pure Rock 2 FX"? And what temps do you usually get while gaming?

I am more afraid of temps in the mid-80s to be honest. My current laptop is sometimes warning me of temps above 90°, thus I try to minimize that problem.

as long as you use a good cooler you will be fine. I run a Ryzen 3950X + Noctua NH-D15 + Fractal Design Meshify Nano and my temps under full load are barely 70C
