Test points on z97 Gaming 5

Long story short I am upgrading my pc. I have a z97 gaming 5 from msi and an i7 4790k. Speaker isn't working and I am going to use my multimeter to test the motherboard on the test points. I followed the sticky on it not booting to no avail.

My question is when I am testing should I see voltage on all points or just the point of failure? I was not able to find anything in the manual or in a quick Google search. Thanks in advance.

Yeah i was hoping to get a quick answer here, from what I can tell though the motherboard is DOA. Ram works in another pc. Psu works in another pc, gfx card works in another pc. The LED on the motherboard that shows codes doesn't even light when powered up. So that is my only clue. I'll call msi in the morning and check with them

try to update bios , it's too strange
