Worried about doing a stress test, could I just play CS GO for half an hour or even forza motorsport 7 at 1080p?

CPU is a ryzen 5 3600, idle is about 35 to 38

Why are you worried about doing a stress test?

Your cpu is designed to handle tasks as fast as it can. And will simply perform them slower if it can't handle them.
Doing a stress test won't cause harm to your computer.

Thanks I'll give it a go.

When I installed my CPU last year I accidentally smudged some of the thermal paste which was pre applied to the heatsink . The temps are still the same as when I installed it so i hope it's ok

Peaked at 67 whilst playing CSGO
Idle 41 after playing CS GO

I use Cinebench , it's from Cinema4D and renders a scene to benchmark all CPU core:

I've throttled my CPU to never go above 77, in bios settings.
