The virus is likely stuck in the System Restore files. Here are the
instructions to get rid of it.

Open Control Panel / System / System restore Tab. Place a check mark in the
"Turn off system rewstore on all drives" option. Apply / OK. Exit Control
Panel and reboot the computer.

Now, go back to the same dialog and remove the check mark from that option.

Turning off System Restore will delete all of the restore points and get rid
of the virus.
