i got the corsair rm 650 do the 24 pin need to be plug in all the way because i can't get my in all the way and it still turns on and works

It's a common problem with some Corsair PSUs. Motherboard connector should have a locking pin which clicks in to place when PSU 24-pin plug is fully seated, has yours locked in properly?

no but do i need to push on the side button thing when i trys to put it in

my 24 pin isn't in all the way but i pc still turns on work perfect

Wouldn't worry about it then. Push too hard and you could crack the motherboard if there's no stand-off underneath that spot, now that would be disastrous!
