Ahh good thing we agree then. You did raise a good point on transistor tightness, and indeed if Prescott cannot be properly designed process-wise, that CAN be problematic.

Also, I think one of the reasons the Barton did not succeed bringing THAT much more surface area cooling effectiveness, is probably because of no heat-spreader. The P4 excels at that.
