If you happened to read Deathly Hallows, you might remember the part where all the good guys are traveling around in little groups, and one group is busy putting on a radio show. They keep changing the frequency and the time, but astute listeners can usually find it.
Wonder if Google could do something like that. You have to know or guess where the IP address is (or domain, or whatever), but if you find it then you get full uncensored access to Google from inside China. And Google can just keep switching the address each time the CCP discover and censor it.
Or what if something akin to the Folding@Home install included a proxy, so that any of millions of computers could be used by the Chinese to access Google or any of numerous other uncensored sites. As someone wrote (and I misquote b.c. it's late and I'm too lazy to scroll up), "You can't block the internet. It's too big."
